The team at Direnza have been working hard over past few months & they have come up with some rather special parts for the little 500.

Track Series Manifold

Direnza Track Series Exhaust Manifolds are manufactured from high-grade stainless steel and feature extra thick 3mm walls for improved reliability.

A direct replacement for the stock part, our mandrel-bent manifolds achieve notable performance gains while enhancing engine sound. Our tried-and-tested tubular design features TIG welds, for maximum strength and durability, while CNC machined flanges ensure accurate fitment.

Compatible vehicles:

Fiat 500 1.4T Abarth 2008-

Grande Punto 1.4T Abarth 2007-2015

Punto Evo 1.4T Abarth 2007-2015

Alfa Romeo Mito 1400 T-Jet 2008-2015.

Please note this item is only suitable for models with the IHI turbocharger.

MVT Front Mount Intercooler Kit

What is MVT?
‘MVT’ stands for ‘Multi Vane Technology’ and is a Direnza trademark. MVT significantly enhances the efficiency of an intercooler, leading to reduced intake temperatures and ultimately, increased engine performance. Within Direnza’s MVT intercoolers are special vanes, which distribute incoming charge air across the entire intercooler core.

Direnza MVT Front Mount Intercooler for the Abarth 500.

Compatible vehicles:

Fiat 500 Abarth 1.4 2008- (135 bhp model)

Fiat 595 Abarth 1.4 (140, 145 & 160bhp models)

Please note this item is only suitable for models with the IHI turbocharger.

Technical Analysis
Extensive research into existing intercooler designs revealed that most systems have angled fabricated end tanks with very poor airflow characteristics. To make matters worse, many intercoolers channelled most of the charge air, as much as 80% of it, through as little as 20% of the core. The remaining air is left to drift unevenly through the rest of the system.

Design Process
Our engineers carefully honed their MVT concept, using state of the art 3D CAD software and CFD modelling analysis. Not only did our engineers pay great attention to the shape and angle of the intercooler vanes, but they developed cast aluminium end tanks with exceptional air-flow characteristics.

Hub-Centric Wheel Spacers

Fiat 500 & 595 Abarth modes use a 4×98 stud pattern with a 58.1 centre bore. This is a wheel fitment most commonly used for Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia models. Direnza currently offer 4 Wheel Spacer variations to fit these cars. 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm, giving you a broad range of options when it comes to fine tuning the look and performance of your car.
